Bob Bollweg

Bob grew up in Wheaton, Illinois and studied economics at Wheaton College. After working a few years in finance in Minnesota, he changed careers and has been teaching business and coaching high school football for the past 20 years. Bob has been at New Trier High School for the past 15 years. He and his wife, Lexie, spend most of their days supporting their five children (Lucy, Isaac, Maria, James, Teddy) in their education and various activities! They enjoy the outdoors, family adventures, and serving in the church.  

Bob put his faith in Christ when he was 14 years old after a football coach shared the Gospel with him and encouraged him to have a personal relationship with Christ. Bob desired to read the Bible and pray on his own. The Lord grew his faith through FCA Bible studies, fellowship with other believers, and his college experience. 

The Bollwegs have attended The Orchard for 9 years. Bob currently serves in Children’s ministry on Sunday mornings and teaching/leading Cubbies at Awana on Tuesday evenings.
