Kathy Ruda

Kathy grew up in Chicago’s Norwood Park and attended Church of the Open Door. After high school, she attended Wheaton College. In the middle of her junior year, she transferred to Loyola University in Chicago, majoring in Business Administration/Human Resources Management, graduating with a BBA. 

Kathy has been married to Mark since 1982. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. 

The Rudas have regularly attended The Orchard since 2000. They became members in 2012. Since being at The Orchard, Kathy served in the Children’s Ministry as Sunday School teacher for nine years
