Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, at GriefShare, you're invited to learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
The Orchard Barrington offers a 13-week course as you process the difficult emotions of grief and loss.
We are so sorry for your loss. Grief is unique and we recognize that no one can fully know the pain you are experiencing. We are praying for you. Please allow us to walk with you on your grief journey. GriefShare is a safe place for you to process your emotions and thoughts. Walking with others who have experienced grief can help you make progress on your journey. You are welcome here. Typically, we have 10-15 people in GriefShare. Losses vary. Most evenings we watch a video together and then break into smaller groups to process the content. We end by 8:30 pm. We know it is very hard to visit a grief support group. Please try. If you visit, you will be warmly welcomed. You don't have to share; you can just observe. We care about you and want you to feel safe and loved.
What is GriefShare?
GriefShare begins with a 30-minute video featuring respected experts on grief-related topics and helpful stories from people who have experienced loss.
After the video, group members spend time discussing what was presented in the video and what is going on in your lives.
Talking with others who understand what you’re experiencing brings great comfort, normalizes the grief experience, and offers a supportive environment to work through your grief.

While everyone’s response to loss is unique, people facing loss and grief will experience many of the same challenges. The weekly GriefShare topics address common struggles—providing valuable tips, encouragement, and direction.
