Andrew Higashi

Andrew grew up in Hawaii in a Christian home and came to faith at 10 years old when he recognized that he was a sinner in need of a savior. Andrew moved to Chicago for college and became involved in campus ministry which was instrumental in his growth as a Christian. After graduating, he worked as an engineer and switched careers after going to business school. Currently he works in Business Development in the Technology sector. Andrew met his wife Christine in the Chicago area and they have been married for 11 years. They have five children, three boys (Caleb, 9, Joshua, 8, and Christian, 6) and two girls (Faith, 2, and Grace, 4 months). Andrew started attending The Orchard Arlington Heights in 2016 and joined the Northfield congregation during the launch. He served as a LIFE Group leader for six years but stepped down last year and started serving as a teacher in Orchard Kids for K-2nd grades.
