Joe Steiger

Joe was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and a law degree from Chicago’s Kent School of Law. He is married to the lovely Georgette Steiger, and they have been attending The Orchard since 1997 and members since 2007. They have two adult children and two young grandsons.

Joe was a litigation attorney for 40+ years where he handled cases but also mentored and managed attorneys. Joe’s ministry experience includes hands-on work in children and youth ministry programs. He has participated in and led missions’ trips, both youth programs and adult trips with a more outreach or evangelistic focus. 

He has also served on our church board for 6 years, assisting with the original AH renovation project and has been an Elder and the Chair of the Elder Board at his previous church. 

In his free time, Joe enjoys bike riding, reading, and just spending time with Georgette.
