Julie Brahmstedt

Julie Brahmstedt is the daughter of a minister and therefore moved around quite a bit in her early years. She considers Princeton, Illinois her hometown. She graduated from North Park University with a degree in Early Childhood education. Julie has been teaching In the Belvidere School District for the past 23 years. Julie made the choice to follow Jesus at an early age but made her faith her own in her teen years. 

Julie and her husband, Adam, recently celebrated their 18th anniversary. They live in the country with their two sons. Ben is a freshman in high school and Sam is in 7th grade. 

Julie and her family began attending The Orchard Marengo nine years ago where they soon became members. Adam and Julie serve in the church nursery and Julie is enjoying her second year as lead teacher for the Cubbies group of Awana.
