Women’s Ministry in Barrington
Women’s Ministry fosters deeper community and growth in faith, hope, and love among the women in our church.
Meet women in LIFE Groups and at events who will challenge and encourage you to grow as you study God’s Word and seek to apply it to your lives. Our LIFE Groups are the main way we care, but if you have struggles that are long and deep, or you’re wondering what the next steps should be, please reach out to Laura, our Director of Women’s Ministries, or one of our pastors or deacons. We’d love to hear from you and desire to care for and resource you well.
Women’s LIFE Groups
Women’s LIFE Groups meet at various times throughout the week and typically discuss the sermon or other gospel-centered material.
Whether you gather to dig into the current sermon, study a book of the Bible, or encourage one another to apply God’s Word to a specific topic, LIFE Groups will grow your faith!
Open to women of all ages and stages, it’s easy to find a group with a time and location that works for you.
Café Mom
Come and meet other moms while finding refreshment and rest for your souls. Café Mom meets on the third Thursday of the month, September to May, 9 - 11 am. Cost: $20 per semester.
LIFE Group Kids
Thursday morning LIFE Groups, just for moms, offering childcare for infants – 4 yrs. old, 9 – 11 am. Please register your child for LIFE Group Kids. They will learn Bible verses, worship, and play with other children while you attend your LIFE Group.
GriefShare
At GriefShare, you're invited to learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. The Orchard Barrington offers a 13-week course as you process the difficult emotions of grief and loss.
